I purchase this because I heard so many good reviews and wanted a small sample to try it, and I've been feeling weighed down by normal foundations.
I purchased the shade #21, Light Beige. I have attached photos of swatches in both cool and warm lighting. It is the third from the top, with Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB cream in #1 directly above, Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream in #501 (Fair) underneath the Missha one, and Maybelline Fit Me! Matte+Poreless foundation in 115 (Ivory) under that. These are all references to the kind of skin tone would fit, because I know I was conflicted in trying to decide a shade, so why not help someone out?
One thing I noticed is that this definitely has that grey tone to it, instead of a straight warm/cool tone. It may be difficult to guess your skin tone, but if you've tried Korean base products before you get a good idea of what shade you are.
This is a very light, dewy BB cream. The packaging is a simple squeeze bottle with a silver cap that is flat on the end, making it easy to stand up. It sort of smells like sunscreen, and is hardly noticeable unless you're sticking your nose to it. It has a thicker consistency than the other BB creams I have, but still quite light. As expected of BB creams, the coverage is quite sheer but buildable. This is also a formula that looks better with a sponge or fingers, as a brush give it a streaky texture.
This dries down in a reasonable amount of time to a semi-matte/semi-dewy finish. It looks very natural, which is great, and feels soft to the touch. The lasting power of this is exceptionally nice. I have oily/combination skin, and if I'm getting oily and blot, the product does transfer onto the sheet a little but it still looks great. I've worn this before and it lasted all day with ease and it still looks great at the end of the day. It does cling to drier areas, but I help this by putting on a primer/moisturizer beforehand.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a new BB cream. It definitely has a limited shade range though, so it's a shame that many people will be unable to use this product.
